What Private Duty with BAYADA’s Skilled Nursing Looks Like:
- Private duty = full shifts (8's, 10's, or 12's)
- Private duty = one client for the whole shift
- Nurses work with local clients nearby with short commutes
- Common diagnoses BAYADA Skilled Nurses work on: TBI, CP, Premature Birth, Sptinal Muscle Atrophy, Epilepsy
*RNs working in hospitals, long-term care, and schools have directly transferable skills and are well-equipped to handle one client in the home
Qualifications for A Private Duty RN:
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state

About this role
BAYADA Home Health Care is offering full-time RN positions in Columbia providing private duty skilled nursing care to individual clients in their homes. The role involves working full shifts (8, 10, or 12 hours) with one client per shift, focusing on conditions like traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy, spinal muscular atrophy, and epilepsy. You'll have short commutes to local clients and receive 24/7 managerial support and a compliance hotline.
The position requires a current Missouri nursing license in good standing and graduation from an accredited nursing program. If you've worked in hospitals, long-term care, or schools, those skills transfer directly to this one-on-one home care model. Night shift RNs receive a $4,000 sign-on bonus.
