Description

Location: Eastern Time Zone (Preferrably but not limited to Boston)
Work Model: Hybrid remote and in-person
Reports to: Regional Director of East Coast Operations
Travel: Up to 25%

About The Opportunity
We are looking for an Associate Regional Director to support our East Coast region.

You will be the right hand to the Regional Director. That means diving into everything from day-to-day operations to long-term initiatives that drive excellence in the East Coast. You'll turn priorities into plans, keep important work moving, and give leadership the insight it needs to make good decisions quickly. Your job is to multiply the Regional Director's reach, so the region can do more and do it well.

You'll work across the whole region: operations, customers, people, financial performance, and growth. You won't own any one of these at first. As the region grows, there will be chances to manage people and take on larger areas of ownership. You would be on a trajectory to a Regional Director role.

This is a hybrid role with flexibility to work remotely, but being present matters. We strongly prefer someone who lives in the broader Boston area, and who enjoys spending time with customers and teams in the field.

What You'll Do

  • Project management: Lead and coordinate key regional initiatives from start to finish. That means setting scope, timelines, owners, and milestones, and making sure work gets done.
  • Tracking and accountability: Build and maintain the systems the region uses to track priorities, commitments, KPIs, and action items. Make sure nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Strategic insights: Analyze operating and financial data, spot trends, risks, and opportunities, and turn them into clear recommendations.
  • Increasing leadership bandwidth: Act as a thought partner and extension of the Regional Director. Prepare for meetings, draft communications, follow up on decisions, and handle issues directly when appropriate.
  • Operating rhythm: Help run the region's cadence of meetings, business reviews, and reporting so the team stays aligned and focused.
  • Cross-functional coordination: Work with internal teams to move regional priorities forward and remove roadblocks.
  • Customer and field support: Support key customer relationships and field operations. Step in to help solve problems and improve how things run.
  • Special projects: Take on high-impact work as it comes up, such as market expansion, process improvement, new service lines, or best practices shared between regions.

What Success Looks Like
You'll know you're succeeding when:

  • The Regional Director has more time for the highest-value work.
  • Regional priorities are clear, tracked, and moving forward.
  • Leadership decisions are backed by timely, useful insight.
  • Teams across the region feel more organized and aligned.
  • Over time, you'll become a trusted leader in your own right. You'll know the business deeply and be ready to take on more scope, including people leadership.

What You Bring

  • 4+ years of experience in operations, project management, strategy, consulting, chief of staff, or a similar role
  • A strong record of managing complex projects with many stakeholders from start to finish
  • Excellent organization and follow-through
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort turning data into clear takeaways and recommendations
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication, including the ability to prepare materials for senior leaders
  • Good judgment, discretion, and the ability to represent leadership well
  • The ability to switch between big-picture strategy and hands-on detail
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, presentation tools, and project tracking tools
  • Curiosity, humility, and an owner mindset
  • Experience in PACE, senior care, healthcare services, on-site care, or multi-site operations is a strong plus.

The Person We're Looking For
We want someone who is organized, sharp, and eager to learn how a growing healthcare business really works. You should be just as comfortable building a project plan, digging into a KPI dashboard, preparing a leadership update, or working through a problem with a field team.

About CMC
Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) brings dental, vision, podiatry, and audiology care directly to seniors where they receive care. We primarily partner with PACE organizations, while also serving senior care facilities across the country. Today, CMC serves hundreds of centers across 31 states.

We are a family-founded company with a simple mission: provide excellent care, with dignity and respect, to people who can easily be overlooked by the traditional healthcare system.

About this role

Comprehensive Mobile Care is seeking an Associate Regional Director to serve as Chief of Staff for its East Coast operations, supporting the Regional Director in scaling a healthcare business that brings dental, vision, podiatry, and audiology services directly to seniors. You'll own the operational backbone of the region—managing key initiatives from conception through execution, building tracking systems for priorities and KPIs, analyzing data to surface trends and risks, and ensuring cross-functional teams stay aligned. This is a hybrid role based in the Boston area with up to 25% travel, and it sits on a clear trajectory toward Regional Director.

The role demands someone with at least four years in operations, project management, strategy, or a similar function, with a track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects. You'll need strong analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and fluency with spreadsheets and project management tools. Equally important is the ability to move fluidly between strategic thinking and tactical execution—one moment preparing materials for senior leadership, the next solving a problem on the ground with field teams.

If you have healthcare operations experience (particularly in PACE, senior care, or multi-site settings), that's a significant advantage. CMC values curiosity, humility, and an owner mindset. You should be comfortable with ambiguity early on—you won't own a single function initially—but the expectation is that as the region grows, you'll take on people leadership and larger areas of responsibility.
