About this role
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a registered nurse for private duty home care in the Lees Summit area. This role involves full shifts—typically 8, 10, or 12 hours—providing one-to-one skilled nursing care to individual clients in their homes. You'll work with patients managing conditions like traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy, spinal muscular atrophy, and epilepsy. If you've worked in hospitals, long-term care, or schools, those skills transfer directly to managing a single client's complex medical needs in a home setting.
The position offers stability through BAYADA's nonprofit structure, which means no corporate upheaval or frequent leadership changes. You'll receive weekly paychecks, flexible scheduling options (part-time and full-time available across day, evening, and night shifts), and 24/7 managerial support. The benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage; PTO; paid holidays; 401(k) matching; employer-paid life insurance; and access to an Employee Assistance Program, scholarships, and ongoing training.
To qualify, you need a current Missouri nursing license in good standing, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and SER-MO certification. This role suits nurses looking for predictable, client-focused work with strong organizational backing and the flexibility to build a sustainable career.
