About this role

West Monroe's M&A practice is looking for an experienced consulting leader to drive large-scale transformation programs for manufacturing and industrial clients. You'd own complex, multi-workstream engagements—translating strategy into concrete changes across operations, supply chain, plant systems, and technology. The work spans manufacturing process redesign, operating model development, ERP and shop-floor technology integration, and benefits realization, with you serving as the primary advisor to C-suite and VP-level executives on critical decisions and program risks.

This role demands deep operational expertise: at least ten years leading transformation initiatives in manufacturing, consumer products, or industrials, with proven ability to manage cross-functional teams across business, operations, IT, and OT functions. You'll need hands-on knowledge of plant-level processes, supply chain systems (ERP, MES, WMS, TMS), and industrial automation, plus the executive presence to influence senior stakeholders and manage engagement financials. The position also expects you to contribute to business development and solution design while incorporating AI tools into your analytical and delivery work.

Based in Chicago with 30–50% travel, this full-time role offers a salary range of $209,800–$246,800, medical and dental coverage, 401(k) access, stock purchase options, annual bonuses, and unlimited flexible time off. It suits someone ready to lead high-stakes client programs and grow West Monroe's operations transformation practice.
