About this role
Trilon Group's DRMP division is building out its transportation engineering practice across the Mid-Atlantic and seeks a licensed PE to lead that expansion from their Raleigh office. You would manage the full lifecycle of traffic studies and impact analyses for both public and private clients, oversee cost and schedule performance, and direct a team of project managers, engineers, and interns. The role blends technical depth—you'll need solid expertise in Synchro, SIDRA, and traffic analysis standards—with business development, meaning you'd pursue new work, support proposals and presentations, and leverage existing relationships with private sector clients to grow the practice.
This is a leadership position that assumes you've spent 7–10+ years progressing through traffic engineering work, ideally in A/E/C settings, with a track record of completed studies in the region. Beyond managing projects, you'll mentor staff, collaborate across disciplines to deepen your own expertise, and help shape the firm's reputation. The position requires travel to meet clients and a PE license in your primary work state. DRMP offers a structured career path, tuition reimbursement, mentorship programming, and standard benefits including strong PTO and 401(k) matching.
