About this role

Trilon Group (operating as DRMP) is looking for a Senior Bridge Engineer in Orlando who can take on the full scope of complex transportation projects while building the next generation of engineers. You'd lead structural design from concept through construction, handling everything from calculations and CAD production to RFI responses and field problem-solving across both Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build delivery methods. The role demands deep expertise in AASHTO LRFD standards and FDOT requirements, along with hands-on proficiency in bridge design software and advanced CADD tools.

This position suits someone with 15+ years in bridge design who's ready to move beyond individual contributor work into technical leadership. You'd mentor junior engineers, direct engineering alternatives investigations, and set design standards across projects. A Florida PE is required or must be obtainable; an SE credential and master's degree are valued but not essential. The firm emphasizes career development with both management and technical tracks, tuition reimbursement, and a structured mentorship program—suggesting they're serious about retention and growth.

The compensation is described as excellent, backed by solid benefits including 401(k) matching, strong PTO, health coverage, parental leave, and an EAP. This is a full-time, in-office role in Orlando for a fast-growing transportation engineering firm with established expertise in structures.
