About this role
Helpr is connecting you with a family in Denver's Southpark Hill neighborhood who need occasional weekend childcare for their 2.5-year-old. The role involves roughly one to two evenings per month, typically 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM on date nights, with at least a week's notice. You'd engage the child through play—both indoors with toys like trucks and Magna-Tiles and outdoors at nearby parks—while also handling bedtime routines (bath, teeth brushing) and feeding prepared meals. The family has specific allergies to manage (peanuts, tree nuts, and eggs), and you should be comfortable around their dog and cat.
This is a good fit if you have at least two years of professional childcare experience and hold CPR certification (or are willing to get it). You'll need a high school diploma, legal work authorization, and the ability to pass a background check and provide two professional childcare references. At $35 per hour with no guaranteed hours, this works best as supplemental income or for someone seeking flexible, occasional work rather than consistent part-time employment. The position starts in October 2026 and is intended to be long-term.
