About this role

Rowan Williams Davies & Irwin is seeking a Project Manager to blend business development with hands-on project delivery in their Philadelphia office. You'll be responsible for sourcing and closing new business opportunities, managing proposals and contracts for public and private clients, and overseeing project teams to ensure quality delivery and client satisfaction. This role demands someone who can move fluidly between the sales side—identifying opportunities and building relationships—and the operational side, where you'll track financials, manage timelines, and ensure projects meet scope and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a background in engineering consulting and holds a degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field. You'll need to understand building design, construction processes, and relevant codes, with the ability to translate technical concepts for clients and stakeholders. Strong organizational skills, results-driven focus, and genuine interpersonal abilities are essential; you'll regularly present at meetings and industry events, and travel as needed. If you have most of these qualifications but not all, RWDI encourages you to apply.

The position offers a salary between $86,000 and $110,000 annually, plus performance bonuses, paid vacation, group health benefits, RSP matching, and spending accounts for learning and fitness.
