About this role
Holder Construction, a nationally recognized top-tier contractor, is hiring a Carpenter for a temporary assignment on their Mooresville, Indiana project. You'll support field operations by building and maintaining temporary safety structures—handrails, hole protection, weather enclosures—along with standard carpentry tasks like sawing, measuring, drilling, and nailing. The role demands someone who can work independently with minimal supervision, think through problems on site, and take ownership of assigned work.
You'll need at least five years of construction experience, current training in OSHA 10 and fall protection, and the ability to read basic drawings. Experience with concrete is strongly valued. The job is physically demanding: you'll regularly lift 50–100 pounds, work at heights on ladders and scaffolds, and spend extended periods standing or walking on uneven surfaces. You must be reliable, punctual, and available for overtime and weekend hours when needed.
Holder offers competitive pay with shift differentials for select roles, plus a full benefits package including health coverage, 401(k), and annual bonuses. A background check and substance abuse test are required before hire.
