About this role
Ring Concierge is seeking an experienced Customer Care Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of their customer service function and manage an external vendor team. You'd be responsible for maintaining service standards across all customer touchpoints—email, chat, and phone—while handling complex escalations, defining policies for returns and repairs, and ensuring every interaction reflects the brand's voice and values. This role requires deep knowledge of fine jewelry operations, from custom orders and CAD approvals to coordinating with warehouse and shipping partners on claims and discrepancies.
The ideal candidate brings at least five years of customer care experience in jewelry, with proven success managing or coaching an outsourced team. You'll need hands-on familiarity with ticketing systems like Gorgias, comfort with Excel and Google Workspace, and the ability to create SOPs, training materials, and quality assurance processes. The role demands someone who is highly organized, solutions-oriented, and able to balance vendor accountability, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced startup environment.
This is a full-time, in-office position in New York City (four days per week on-site) with a $90,000 salary. Expect extended hours during peak periods and busy seasons, including potential weekend and holiday coverage. The company offers health, vision, and dental insurance, generous employee discounts on jewelry, paid time off, Summer Fridays, and three additional days annually for religious observances.
