About this role
Ascension's Milwaukee security operation needs someone to manage facility safety through active patrols, access control, and incident response across a healthcare campus. You'll investigate security events, document findings in detailed reports, flag maintenance issues, and guide visitors and staff through the premises. The role demands readiness for emergency situations and the ability to stay alert during routine operations.
The position requires a Wisconsin driver's license and one security-related credential—either law enforcement, a security professional certification, a weapons-permit security guard license, or a concealed carry permit—all obtainable within 90 days of hire. You'll need a high school diploma or one year of directly relevant security experience; relevant certifications can substitute for education. BLS certification and training in managing aggressive behavior are preferred additions to your background.
