About this role
Round One Entertainment's arcade mechanic role puts you on the floor of a busy Las Vegas entertainment venue, troubleshooting and repairing arcade and bowling equipment. You'll respond directly to customer complaints, diagnose mechanical issues, and handle installation and maintenance work across the facility. The job demands physical capability—regular lifting up to 100 pounds, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods in a high-noise, dusty environment—along with the analytical skills to isolate problems in controls, audio systems, and other components.
A high school diploma or GED is required; two years of related mechanical experience is preferred but not mandatory. The role is part-time and non-exempt, with emphasis on availability during nights and weekends. You'll need solid customer service instincts to handle complaints professionally, plus the ability to keep your workspace organized. The compensation is $16–17 per hour, supplemented by perks including weekly arcade play, bowling time, karaoke/billiards access, food discounts, and a free beverage per shift. This role suits someone with hands-on mechanical aptitude who's comfortable working in a high-energy entertainment setting and can commit to flexible, evening-heavy scheduling.
