Tire Exchange of the Carolinas, General Service Technician

Main Street Auto's Tire Exchange location in Mauldin is hiring a General Service Technician to handle tire and lube work in a full-time, Monday-through-Friday role. You'll perform tire rotations, installations, and repairs alongside oil changes, filter replacements, wheel alignments, and basic vehicle inspections. The work involves both hands-on technical tasks and customer interaction—recommending tires, answering questions, and explaining maintenance needs to vehicle owners. You'll also maintain service records and follow shop safety protocols.

The position requires emissions certification and a high school diploma, with prior experience as a tire and lube technician preferred. You'll need solid mechanical skills, proficiency with shop equipment, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. The role pays $600–$800 weekly and includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid vacation, and training opportunities. Hours are 8 AM to 5 PM.
