About this role
Globalization Partners is seeking an HR Specialist to serve as the primary HR advisor for clients navigating employment across Southern Europe, particularly France. This is a one-year fixed-term contract role based remotely in Italy, designed for someone who can blend deep regional labor law expertise with genuine client partnership. You'll manage the full employee lifecycle—from onboarding through complex terminations—while staying current on compliance, cultural nuances, and immigration requirements across multiple countries. The role also involves building relationships with payroll and legal partners, guiding clients through performance management and compensation decisions, and leading process improvements through digital transformation initiatives.
The ideal candidate brings at least three years of HR experience with strong knowledge of Southern European employment regulations, particularly French labor law and portage salarial structures. Familiarity with HRIS platforms, Zendesk, Jira, and standard collaboration tools is expected, and prior exposure to the EOR industry is preferred but not required.
