About this role

Whelen Engineering's warehouse operation in Charlestown needs a hands-on associate to manage the full cycle of parts receiving, storage, and distribution. You'd handle incoming shipments from multiple sources, use RF scanners to pull inventory, pack and transport materials to assembly areas, and operate material handling equipment including lifts and potentially forklifts. The role requires comfort with basic warehouse systems and the ability to keep counts accurate using scales and other devices while maintaining organized kit holding areas.

This is a physically demanding position—you'll be on your feet most or all of your shift, regularly lifting up to 35 pounds and performing repetitive tasks. You need strong communication skills to work effectively with coworkers and supervisors, and fluency in English is essential. The Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. schedule is standard, though overtime may be required. The job suits someone who can adapt to shifting priorities, follow established procedures, and take initiative in flagging safety or environmental concerns to supervisors.
