About this role
Vintage Cash Cow's Appraisals team is looking for someone to join their operation near Arnhem as a Junior Appraiser on the late shift (15:30–24:00). You'll learn to assess and value a diverse range of vintage and antique items—jewellery, watches, toys, cameras, collectables and more—starting with structured training in their Training Academy, then moving into independent appraisal work. The role is hands-on and varied; no two customer boxes are the same, and you'll be supported by your Team Leader and category specialists as you build confidence and knowledge across different product categories.
Success in this role means completing your training, reaching a pace of 30+ customer boxes appraised per day within three months, and maintaining quality standards above 95% accuracy. You'll work closely with colleagues across the team, handling each item with care while keeping accurate records and making fair, transparent valuation decisions. The work is detail-oriented and requires organisation in a busy environment, but there's genuine scope to develop expertise and take ownership as you progress.
The role suits someone with a genuine interest in vintage and antique items, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. Previous experience with antiques, second-hand goods or product assessment is helpful but not essential—the company provides full training. You'll need reliability, basic IT competence, and the physical capability to handle and move customer boxes safely. The salary is €39,123 annually, including an 8% holiday allowance and late-shift surcharge.
