About this role

Design Hotels™, the luxury boutique hotel consultancy within Marriott International, is seeking a creative intern to support its Berlin headquarters for six months starting February 2027. You'd work hybrid within a team spanning 39 countries, assisting with brand strategy, design, and content production across a curated portfolio of over 300 independent hotels worldwide. The role combines editorial support—coordinating with creative teams, scheduling meetings, and preparing presentations—with hands-on media management, including reviewing and approving content from member hotels and creating layout drafts for internal documents and presentations.

This internship suits someone with strong organizational skills and fluency in both written and spoken English who thrives in a collaborative environment. You'll need proficiency in Keynote, Canva, and Adobe, along with the ability to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. The work involves visual research, direct communication with international hotel partners, and close collaboration with the design team to translate concepts into tangible outputs. The role is structured as a compulsory part of an academic program and compensates EUR 1,000 monthly.

Beyond the day-to-day work, you'll gain insider exposure to luxury hospitality strategy and operate from Berlin's creative Media Spree district alongside an international team. The company offers hotel discounts across the Marriott portfolio, provides equipment, and emphasizes flexibility and career development opportunities within a global organization.
