Key Responsibilities
- Turn real-world business problems into actionable automation projects.
- Design and deploy AI-powered agents and workflows using n8n, Zapier and Make alongside custom backend services.
- Integrate LLMs such as Claude, Gemini and OpenAI into internal workflows.
- Work alongside departments to build their capability to maintain and extend delivered solutions.
- Create documentation and playbooks and deliver hands-on enablement sessions.
- Manage your own project pipeline across multiple departments.
- Monitor automation performance, cost and reliability.
- Champion security and data-handling best practices.
- Evaluate emerging AI tools, frameworks and providers.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- At least 3 years experience in an AI Platform Engineer position, preferably within B2B SaaS.
- Production experience with n8n, Zapier and/or Make.
- Strong Python or Node.js skills.
- Proven experience delivering real-world LLM-powered automations.
- Strong RESTful API and integration experience.
- Ability to scope ambiguous problems and independently manage delivery.
- Strong communication, documentation and stakeholder skills.
- Solid Git knowledge.
- A recognised third-level qualification.
- Experience working in and a love for Agile or Lean environments.
Desirable experience includes RAG and vector databases, MCP or similar agent architectures, AWS, data privacy tooling and Agile/Kanban.

About this role
Scurri is looking for an AI Platform Engineer to own the full lifecycle of AI automation across their business—from identifying opportunities in different departments through to deployment, monitoring, and enabling teams to maintain what you build. You'll report to the CTO and work with workflow platforms like n8n, Zapier and Make, integrating LLMs from providers like Claude and OpenAI to solve real business problems. This is hands-on work that spans technical delivery, stakeholder management, and internal enablement.
The role demands at least three years as an AI Platform Engineer, ideally in B2B SaaS, with production experience in the platforms mentioned above and strong Python or Node.js skills. You'll need proven track record delivering LLM-powered automations in the wild, solid RESTful API and integration knowledge, and the ability to scope ambiguous problems independently. Clear communication and documentation skills matter as much as technical depth—you'll be creating playbooks and running enablement sessions alongside your engineering work.
