About this role

Upstream Rehabilitation's Journey program offers physical therapists a structured approach to travel work across their network of 1,200+ outpatient clinics in 28 states. Rather than freelancing through an agency, you'd work as a full-time employee with guaranteed hours, continuous benefits coverage between assignments, and standardized systems across all locations—eliminating the typical friction of relearning EMRs and documentation each time you move. Assignments typically run 13 weeks, with flexibility to choose 6- or 12-month options, and you can transition to a permanent location whenever you're ready.

The compensation package includes a base salary of $120,000–$145,000 in the Denver market, plus a non-taxed housing stipend, travel reimbursement, tiered bonuses, and productivity incentives. You'll also receive standard benefits—medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, and life/disability insurance—along with paid time off, holidays, and paid relocation days between assignments. Student loan repayment is available.

You'll deliver evidence-based outpatient orthopedic care, collaborate with clinical teams across Upstream's regional brands, and work within a supportive culture designed for clinician growth. This role suits PTs who want geographic flexibility without sacrificing employment stability, benefits continuity, or career development.
