About this role

Spektrum is recruiting an IT Infrastructure Engineer to support NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA) projects on-site in Brunssum. This role sits within the Assistance and Advisory Service program and involves designing, implementing, integrating, and deploying core IT infrastructure solutions across NATO's communications and information systems environments. You'll work on enterprise-scale deployments that directly support NATO's secure communications and operational capabilities, handling everything from technical design and system configuration through testing, validation, and production deployment.

The position demands at least five years of hands-on experience in enterprise IT infrastructure and core services delivery, with a strong track record in large-scale, government or military environments. You'll need solid technical grounding in Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and certificate services, alongside demonstrated competence in structured project delivery frameworks and governance processes. Beyond technical execution, the role requires close collaboration with project teams, architects, security stakeholders, and operational authorities—and you'll be responsible for producing detailed status reports that track progress, risks, quality, and resource utilization against project milestones.

This is a full-time, in-office role suited to someone with infrastructure project delivery experience who is comfortable working in complex, security-conscious environments and can manage both technical implementation and stakeholder communication in a formal governance context.
