About this role
Tyson & Mendes is looking for an experienced litigation paralegal to join their Northbrook office and work on substantive insurance defense matters—everything from catastrophic injury and medical malpractice to construction defect and product liability. You'd be part of a team led by accomplished trial attorneys, handling discovery, document management, trial preparation, and damage calculations. You'll need proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat, the ability to manage multiple deadlines with minimal supervision, and solid communication skills. The hybrid schedule asks for three days per week in the office with additional time as needed for trial prep.
Compensation ranges from $30 to $43 per hour based on experience, with overtime at time-and-a-half, an annual bonus of $250–$3,000, and a solid benefits package including comprehensive health coverage, a 401(k) with matching contributions, and paid parental leave.
