About this role
Joining AC Hotel by Marriott Gold Coast as a Food & Beverage Supervisor means being part of a pre-opening team tasked with establishing service standards and culture from day one. You'll work across multiple outlets—breakfast service, dinner, banquets, and pool—in a hands-on leadership role that keeps you on the floor supporting your team while ensuring guests receive consistent, warm service. The position involves supervising associates, coordinating daily operations, monitoring service standards, managing stock and inventory, and helping train and coach staff as the hotel launches.
This role suits someone with at least two years of F&B or hospitality experience and one year in a supervisory capacity, ideally from restaurant, banquet, bar, or high-volume service settings. You'll need strong communication skills, the ability to motivate and coach a team, and genuine comfort with the operational side of hospitality—from FIFO procedures to cleanliness standards to responding to guest feedback. Flexibility across shifts, including weekends and events, is essential.
The appeal of this position lies in the pre-opening opportunity itself. Rather than joining an established operation, you'll help shape the service philosophy and team environment of a new Marriott property, with the career development pathways that come with being part of Marriott International. If you thrive in fast-paced, collaborative settings and want to influence how a new hotel operates from its opening day, this is a distinctive opportunity.
