About this role
WeLearn is seeking a Junior Account Manager to support its rapid expansion in the creator economy space. Founded by former Google and Meta strategists, the company partners with content creators and influencers to help them scale their businesses. In this remote, contract-based role, you'd manage a portfolio of creators across different niches, serving as their primary point of contact while identifying solutions for their business needs. Your day-to-day would involve direct interaction with creators and the founding team, with exposure to digital marketing strategy across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Google ads platforms.
The ideal candidate is fluent in English and German, with a solid grasp of digital marketing fundamentals and strong interpersonal skills. Prior experience working with influencers or creators, familiarity with major social platforms' advertising tools, or a background in client-facing roles would strengthen your application, though passion and willingness to learn matter significantly. You'll need to be proactive, entrepreneurial in mindset, and comfortable with the shifting priorities typical of an early-stage startup—seeing change as opportunity rather than obstacle.
What makes this role distinctive is the mentorship and learning potential: you'd gain hands-on proficiency in major ad platforms while working directly with founders and top-tier creators. The position offers genuine growth prospects as an early employee in a scaling company, though it's structured as self-employed freelance work with flexible hours and the expectation of availability during urgent business needs. This suits someone seeking startup experience and rapid skill development over traditional employment stability.
