About this role
Jane Pauley Community Health Center is recruiting a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pediatrician for full-time outpatient work at its Kokomo location, serving an underserved urban population through a federally qualified health center model. You would provide direct pediatric care while working within an integrated system that includes inpatient resources, clinical staff, and in-house social support—allowing you to focus on patient care rather than navigating fragmented referrals. The role carries clinical leadership responsibilities, including supervision of care team members, participation in quality initiatives, and engagement with managed care programs.
Beyond the clinic, this position expects involvement in community health outreach and representation of JPCHC's mission locally and statewide. You'll participate in an equitable after-hours call rotation and contribute to the center's efforts around child health equity and access. The organization emphasizes collaboration and values candidates with a consistent employment history, team orientation, and ideally prior experience in community health or FQHC settings.
The position requires an MD or DO with active or obtainable Indiana licensure and a genuine commitment to serving underserved populations. JPCHC offers standard benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) with employer contribution, life and disability insurance, and generous PTO. This role suits a clinician drawn to mission-driven work in community health who wants to practice within a coordinated care system rather than in isolation.
