About this role
Specialty Dental Brands is seeking an experienced FP&A leader to support the financial planning and strategic decision-making of a growing dental support organization. Reporting to the VP of Finance, you'll work closely with operational and clinical leaders to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses that directly shape how the company allocates resources across its network of pediatric dental, orthodontic, and oral surgery practices. The role combines traditional FP&A responsibilities—monthly and quarterly forecasting, variance analysis, KPI reporting—with the opportunity to evaluate new investments, support acquisitions, and model scenarios around staffing, capacity, and service expansion.
This position suits someone with at least five years of FP&A or corporate finance experience who thrives on translating complex data into clear recommendations for senior leaders. Healthcare or multi-site operational experience is strongly preferred, as is familiarity with financial planning software like Planful. You'll need strong Excel skills, comfort with building financial models, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment while maintaining attention to detail.
The role is hybrid, based in Nashville with three days in-office and two remote each week. Specialty Dental Brands offers competitive compensation, comprehensive health benefits, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and a collaborative culture focused on supporting both practices and employee development.
