About this role

Voyager Technologies is building spacecraft delivery services and systems for NASA, the Department of Defense, and commercial customers—and they need someone to translate complex aerospace engineering into winning proposals. As Senior Proposal Writer/Architect, you'd lead the strategic and creative side of this work: developing win themes, architecting technical narratives, drafting specifications and executive summaries, and conducting subject matter expert interviews to turn technical detail into compelling, competitive proposals. You'd report to the Director of Proposal Development and mentor other writers on the team.

This role suits systems engineers, technical program managers, or space scientists who want to apply strategic thinking and creative communication skills to high-stakes government and commercial bids. You'll need at least five years in aerospace or a related field, a technical degree, proven proposal-writing experience, and the ability to work across teams—from engineers to graphic designers—under tight deadlines. If you have NASA or DoD proposal experience and a deep grasp of spacecraft systems, you'll be particularly competitive.

The position is fully remote and based in Pittsburgh. Voyager offers flexible time off, comprehensive health coverage, 401(k) matching, wellness programs, and the chance to work on mission-critical technology in a collaborative, innovation-focused environment.
