About this role

Empower Pharmacy, a rapidly growing 503A/503B compounding and outsourcing facility in Houston, is hiring a Pharmacy Technician I for data entry work on the second shift. This role centers on accurately processing prescription data at scale—entering complex information into pharmacy systems, validating it against source documents, and identifying discrepancies before they reach patients or auditors. You'll work with both manual processes and AI-enabled tools designed to catch errors and speed throughput, so the job blends precision work with technology adoption.

The position demands strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving. You'll collaborate with pharmacists, quality teams, and operations staff to resolve data issues, standardize workflows, and continuously refine processes. Because Empower operates in a highly regulated environment, compliance and audit readiness are built into everything—accurate record-keeping and adherence to 503A/503B standards aren't optional. The role suits someone comfortable in fast-paced, process-driven settings who can learn new systems quickly and take ownership of data integrity.

You'll need a high school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or pharmacy certification is preferred. One to three years of data entry, pharmacy operations, or healthcare experience—ideally in a regulated environment—is the target background. If you're detail-oriented, collaborative, and ready to grow with a mission-driven organization that invests in its people, this could be a solid entry or mid-level step in pharmacy operations.
