About this role
Industrial Electric Manufacturing is bringing a new manufacturing plant online in San Antonio, and they're building out their talent acquisition team to support that launch. This temporary recruiter role focuses on identifying and hiring front-line production and skilled trades workers for the facility. You'd work closely with hiring managers and business leaders to develop recruitment strategies, source candidates, manage the hiring experience, and ensure compliance with labor regulations—essentially serving as a bridge between the company's staffing needs and its candidate pipeline during a critical growth phase.
The position starts fully onsite in Northeast San Antonio while the plant ramps up, with the possibility of transitioning to hybrid work later as operations stabilize. You'll need at least three years of talent acquisition experience in manufacturing or construction, a bachelor's degree, and strong relationship-building and communication skills. Bilingual capability and familiarity with the San Antonio labor market are valuable assets, as is experience with applicant tracking systems like Greenhouse. This is a startup-mode environment where flexibility and willingness to pitch in across functions matter as much as core recruiting competencies.
