About this role

At AbelsonTaylor, this role puts you at the center of paid social strategy for a healthcare and pharmaceutical-focused agency. You'd own the paid social function across multiple client accounts, serving as both the internal expert and external advisor—developing channel strategies, overseeing campaign execution, and translating platform changes and industry trends into client recommendations. The position blends hands-on work (campaign setup, optimization, troubleshooting) with strategic leadership, so you'd stay connected to the work while guiding team members and shaping how the agency approaches paid social.

You'd collaborate across the Performance Media team—working with paid search, programmatic, analytics, and strategy leads to build integrated, full-funnel campaigns. Client-facing responsibilities include leading planning sessions, business reviews, and presenting performance insights and testing roadmaps to stakeholders. You'd also manage budget allocation, measurement frameworks, and the specific compliance requirements that come with pharmaceutical advertising across platforms.

This role is built for someone with 6+ years of paid social experience, particularly in healthcare or pharma, with strong expertise in Meta and LinkedIn and familiarity across TikTok, Reddit, Pinterest, X, and emerging platforms. You'd need to think strategically, communicate clearly with both clients and teams, and stay curious about the evolving social and privacy landscape. The position is full-time, in-office in Chicago, with a salary range of $115,000–$130,000.
