This is a clinic-based role where you’ll function as an extension of the clinical team within a coordinated, community-focused setting serving senior populations.

This opportunity operates within a community-based outpatient clinic model.

• Clinic staff are on-site full time

About this role

Comprehensive Mobile Care is looking for an audiologist to provide hearing care across Newport and coastal Rhode Island clinics on a highly flexible schedule—just 2 to 3 days per month at $800 per visit. You'd work as an independent contractor within established outpatient clinic settings where full-time staff handle scheduling, equipment, supplies, and billing, freeing you to focus entirely on clinical work. This suits someone seeking meaningful part-time income without the operational overhead of private practice.

The role centers on comprehensive audiometric evaluations, hearing aid fitting and programming, diagnosis and management of hearing conditions, and patient education—all within a team-based clinic environment serving senior populations. CMC emphasizes quality and ethical care over volume, so you'd be part of a coordinated clinical team rather than working in a high-volume retail model. The schedule is entirely weekday daytime hours with no administrative burden.

You'll need an AuD degree and active Rhode Island audiology license. Prior experience with seniors is preferred. This opportunity works well for audiologists who value clinical autonomy, predictable scheduling, and the ability to step away from practice management while still delivering substantive patient care.
