About this role
LA28 is seeking a Senior Manager to own the data and planning infrastructure that keeps the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games venue program on track. You'll build comprehensive program plans covering scope, schedule, resources, and risk across both temporary and permanent infrastructure, then translate that data into clear reports and recommendations for senior leadership. This role sits at the intersection of planning and decision-making—your dashboards, risk assessments, and executive briefings directly shape how LA28's leaders allocate resources and manage the program through to the Games.
The position requires at least seven years in infrastructure or construction program management, with preference for two years leading teams, plus strong technical fluency in Power BI or Tableau, Excel, and project management tools like Smartsheet. You'll work hybrid from LA28's Downtown Los Angeles office, collaborating across in-house, contracted, and remote teams. This is a temporary role with hours that may extend into evenings, weekends, and holidays as the Games approach, and you may take on operational responsibilities during the event itself.
The salary range is $105,000 to $140,000. Prior Olympic or major sports event experience is valued but not required. If you thrive in high-stakes planning environments, can synthesize complex data into actionable insights, and want direct visibility into one of the world's largest infrastructure programs, this role offers real ownership and exposure to senior stakeholders across LA28's delivery partners.
