Description

Your Role

You think ahead. You keep the big picture in sight. You keep our production moving.

At Factor_, fast decisions, high production volumes, and many moving parts come together. As a Production Planner (all genders), you turn all of this into a plan that works – today, tomorrow, and throughout the week ahead.

You manage our daily and weekly production planning, keeping capacity, resources, and production targets in view and responding quickly when things change. You work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and other teams to find pragmatic solutions before small deviations turn into bigger problems.

If you enjoy working with data, quickly getting to the heart of complex situations, and improving things rather than simply letting them run as they are, you’ll feel right at home here.

What You’ll Do

You turn requirements into a plan that works.
You create and manage daily and weekly production plans, ensuring that capacity, resources, and schedules are optimally aligned with our production targets.

You keep an eye on what’s happening on the ground.
You monitor production progress and identify deviations from the plan early. Rather than waiting for issues to escalate, you recommend adjustments and help get production back on track.

You bring teams together.
You work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and other teams on site, communicate planning changes, and help resolve scheduling and capacity conflicts quickly and pragmatically.

You turn data into decisions.
You analyze planning data and relevant KPIs, identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and use your insights to continuously make our planning more accurate and efficient.

You keep our data reliable.
You ensure that planning data and records are accurate and up to date, supporting the quality and integrity of our planning systems.

You’re always looking for ways to do things better.
Continuous improvement is more than just a buzzword to you. You actively contribute to improvement initiatives and work with others to develop solutions to operational and planning challenges.

What You’ll Bring

You’re analytical.
You enjoy working with numbers, spotting connections, and using data to make sound decisions and solve problems.

You’re proactive.
You don’t wait for problems to come to you. You identify them early, address them, and find solutions.

You know production planning.
You bring 2–4 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, supply chain, or a related field. Experience in manufacturing or food production is a plus.

You stay flexible.
Our environment moves fast, and priorities can change at short notice. You stay focused, keep the overview, and know how to prioritize what matters most.

You enjoy working with others.
You communicate clearly, keep relevant stakeholders informed, and enjoy working across teams and functions.

You’re comfortable with tools.
Experience with ERP systems, spreadsheets, or planning tools is a plus.

You speak English.
Good English skills are required. German language skills are a plus.

You’re flexible when it matters.
Depending on operational needs, you’re willing to occasionally work nights or weekends.

About this role

At Factor_, a fast-paced food production operation, you'd own the daily and weekly production planning that keeps everything running smoothly. You'll work with real-time data and production metrics to create workable schedules, spot problems before they escalate, and coordinate across Operations and Supply Chain teams to solve conflicts quickly. This role demands someone who thinks analytically, stays proactive, and thrives when priorities shift—you'll need 2–4 years of planning or scheduling experience, ideally in manufacturing or food production, plus comfort with ERP systems and spreadsheets.

The work suits someone who enjoys problem-solving over process-following. You'll analyze trends, recommend improvements, and contribute to operational initiatives rather than simply executing a static plan. Close collaboration with on-site teams is central to the job, so clear communication and the ability to work across functions matter as much as technical skill. Occasional nights or weekends may be required depending on production needs.

Factor_ emphasizes flat hierarchy and visible impact—your ideas don't get buried, and you'll see the results of your decisions directly. The package includes 30 days of annual leave, competitive compensation, learning budget, meal discounts, and evolving wellness benefits. The role is based in Verden, Lower Saxony, and requires good English; German is a plus.
