About this role
OpenTable is seeking a Sales Development Representative to build restaurant partnerships across the US from their Chicago office on a hybrid basis. In this role, you'll own the early sales process—prospecting restaurants via phone and email, qualifying leads based on their operational needs and budget, and passing qualified opportunities to Account Executives. You'll need to understand OpenTable's reservation and management solutions well enough to articulate their value to restaurant owners facing real pain points, and you'll maintain pipeline records in Salesforce while collaborating with the sales team to refine targeting and conversion strategies.
The position requires at least one year of sales development or customer-facing sales experience, strong communication skills, and CRM proficiency. Prior exposure to SaaS or hospitality technology is a plus, as is familiarity with restaurant management tools and modern sales engagement platforms. You'll work two days per week from the Chicago office and should be prepared for occasional communication outside standard business hours to support international colleagues and urgent matters.
OpenTable offers a $55,000–$65,000 base salary plus quarterly bonuses, hybrid flexibility with up to 20 days remote annually, company-paid mental health support through SpringHealth and Headspace, generous paid time off including a company-wide recharge week, paid parental leave, development dollars for career growth, and standard health and retirement benefits.
