About this role
Advanced Mechanical, part of Kelso Industries, is looking for an experienced General Foreman to lead process piping crews on advanced manufacturing and mission-critical projects in the Phoenix area. You'd be responsible for directing foremen, journeymen, welders, and apprentices through complex installations involving stainless steel, carbon steel, copper, and poly piping systems. The role demands hands-on knowledge of orbital welding, TIG welding, and fusion processes, along with the ability to read P&IDs, isometrics, and technical specifications while keeping crews on schedule and meeting strict quality standards.
This position suits someone with at least seven years of commercial or industrial piping experience and proven field leadership as a foreman or general foreman. You'll need solid expertise in process and high-purity piping systems—ideally gained in advanced manufacturing, semiconductor, data center, pharmaceutical, or similarly technical environments. Beyond technical competency, the role requires strong people leadership: you'll mentor craft employees, coordinate with project management and safety teams to solve field problems, and maintain accountability around productivity, quality, and safety in a fast-paced setting.
This is a full-time, in-office position in Phoenix. Kelso Industries operates 40+ companies with over 5,000 employees nationwide and emphasizes growth opportunities, competitive compensation, and a culture centered on safety and excellence.
