About this role

Revolution Medicines is building out its Workday infrastructure to support growth from current headcount to 3,000–5,000 employees, and this role owns the absence and time tracking foundation for that expansion. You would be the functional lead translating workforce policies and business needs into scalable system solutions, handling everything from time entry templates and absence accruals to work schedules, approval workflows, and compliance across global and regional deployments. The position requires both deep hands-on configuration expertise in Workday's Absence and Time Tracking modules and broader HCM systems knowledge to partner effectively across Payroll, Benefits, People Operations, and HR leadership.

The role reports to the Director of People Operations & Systems and requires someone comfortable troubleshooting complex integration issues, managing stakeholder communication, and staying current on Workday capabilities to continuously improve both system performance and user experience.

This opportunity suits someone with 8+ years of Workday administration experience, particularly deep expertise in Absence and Time Tracking configuration. You should have a Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience, and thrive in a consultative approach that balances scalability, compliance, and operational efficiency.
