About this role
Slifco Electric, a specialized electrical contractor in automotive and industrial sectors, is seeking an intern to support both recruiting and social media efforts during Fall 2026. You'd work directly with the Director of Talent Acquisition on a range of tasks: screening resumes, scheduling interviews, managing college outreach and career fairs, and creating content across LinkedIn and other platforms. The role blends traditional HR work with creative production—developing graphics, employee spotlights, and recruiting campaigns, plus shooting photos and videos at jobsites and company events.
This is a full-time, in-office position suited for someone pursuing a degree in HR, marketing, communications, or related field who has solid organizational skills, comfort across social media platforms and Canva, and genuine interest in content creation. You should bring both attention to detail (candidate management, scheduling) and creative thinking (new campaign ideas, visual storytelling). The internship offers genuine exposure to how a growing construction firm builds its employer brand and fills specialized roles, rather than routine administrative work.
