About this role

Stripe's Professional Services team in Toronto is seeking an Integration Engineer to serve as the technical backbone for strategic enterprise clients. You'll own integration projects from architectural planning through implementation, working directly with some of Stripe's largest users and partners. This means splitting your time between hands-on technical work—debugging code, designing solutions, and building against Stripe's APIs—and higher-level collaboration with Sales, Solution Architecture, and Implementation teams to shape how major enterprises adopt Stripe's payments and financial infrastructure.

The role demands at least four years of software or integration engineering experience, with genuine comfort explaining complex technical concepts and diving into code-level problems. You'll be the primary technical contact for key accounts, which requires both strong generalist technical skills and the ability to communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders. Beyond day-to-day delivery, you're expected to stay current with Stripe's evolving product landscape and contribute thought leadership through whitepapers, conference talks, and feedback to the product team.

This is an in-office position in Toronto suited to someone who enjoys solving open-ended problems, learns quickly, and genuinely wants to help customers succeed. You should be collaborative and intellectually curious—comfortable asking questions, teaching others, and bringing a user-first mindset to everything you do.
