About this role
Metropolis is building AI-powered systems that transform how people interact with physical spaces, starting with parking. As Manager of Launch Operations for the East Region, you'd own the end-to-end execution of hundreds of site deployments—from contracting through post-launch monitoring. This is a deeply cross-functional role requiring you to coordinate with Sales, Product, Tech, Local Operations, and external partners like property managers to keep launches on track, hit timelines, and ensure operational readiness across the region. You'll travel occasionally for critical go-live days and maintain real-time visibility into deployment progress for company leadership.
The day-to-day involves managing regional budgets and logistics, owning launch reporting and metrics, educating field teams on new tools and procedures, and collaborating with Product and Tech to build automation that eliminates manual work. You'll deploy email campaigns to drive subscriber adoption, leverage tools like Salesforce, Trello, and AI platforms to optimize workflows, and turn operational chaos into scalable structure. This role suits someone with 5+ years of experience (3+ in operations, strategy, consulting, or project management) who has managed complex multi-site projects and reported metrics to executives. You should be comfortable with data, proficient in project management and CRM tools, and energized by fast-paced environments where ambiguity and problem-solving are constants. The position is based in Baltimore and offers a salary of $90,000–$120,000 annually, plus standard benefits including healthcare, 401(k), and disability coverage.
