About this role
BAYADA's pediatric nursing team in Newark is seeking an LPN to deliver skilled care to children ranging from infants through young adults in private duty home settings. Unlike traditional home health visits, this role focuses on building ongoing relationships with individual clients through consistent, hands-on care—typically one client per shift on schedules you help design. You'll execute physician orders, perform assessments, monitor conditions, and document care with considerable autonomy, supported by a structured onboarding that includes paid orientation, simulation lab training, and shadowing with an experienced nurse before working independently.
The position offers competitive compensation at $40 per hour with flexibility around shift lengths (8, 10, or 12 hours) and scheduling preferences. BAYADA provides comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, PTO, paid holidays, 401(k) matching, employer-paid life insurance, and professional development opportunities. The Delaware office emphasizes team support through regular nurse appreciation events and a clinical educator available for ongoing training needs.
You'll need a current, active nursing license and completion of an accredited LPN program. This role suits nurses drawn to pediatric care who value autonomy, relationship-building with clients, and flexibility in their work schedule.
