About this role
Trilon Group is hiring a Senior Environmental Professional to lead site investigation and remediation projects across Vermont and New Hampshire. You'd manage the full project lifecycle—from initial site assessment through permitting and brownfields redevelopment—while working with state agencies, municipalities, and private clients. This is positioned as a growth hire, so you'd also help build the local team presence and contribute to business development alongside your technical work.
The role calls for at least eight years in environmental consulting with hands-on experience in site investigation and remediation. A PE or Professional Geologist license is preferred, along with familiarity with Vermont and New Hampshire regulations and existing relationships in the region. You'd supervise technical staff, collaborate across disciplines (civil, transportation, hazmat), and maintain high standards on deliverables. This suits someone ready to step into a leadership position while staying actively involved in project work.
The position is hybrid based in Williston, Vermont, with a salary range of $105,000 to $125,000. Benefits include flexible scheduling, comprehensive health coverage, paid time off, and support for professional development. The company emphasizes work-life balance and team culture, though note that visa sponsorship is not available.
