About this role
BAYADA's Delaware Adult Skilled Nursing office is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses to deliver one-on-one care to adult clients in their homes. You'll work traditional shifts (8, 10, or 12 hours) with flexible scheduling you help design, traveling to a single client home per day. The role centers on executing physician orders, performing assessments, monitoring client conditions, and maintaining thorough documentation—with the autonomy to practice nursing skills independently in a home setting rather than a facility.
The position requires a current LPN license in good standing and graduation from an accredited nursing program. BAYADA emphasizes a structured onboarding process, including paid orientation with a clinical educator, simulation lab training, and shadowing with an experienced nurse before working independently. Pay is up to $40 per hour depending on shift and client acuity. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage; PTO; paid holidays; a 401(k) match; employer-paid life insurance; an Employee Assistance Program; and access to scholarships and continuing education.
This role suits nurses who value building sustained relationships with clients and prefer the predictability of assigned shifts over varied facility rotations. If you're looking for flexibility in scheduling combined with hands-on, relationship-based care in a supportive environment, this is worth considering.
