About this role
DTCC's Systems Engineering team is looking for someone with substantial hands-on experience across middleware, cloud, and containerization technologies to help evolve and secure the firm's critical financial infrastructure. You'd work on the Web Middleware Technology Team, supporting application onboarding, managing SSL certificate lifecycles, and troubleshooting issues across platforms like WebSphere, Tomcat, Liberty, and Apigee. The role demands proficiency with Chef, Ansible, Jenkins, and GitLab in CI/CD environments, plus solid experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift for containerization and AWS for cloud operations.
The work spans the full technical lifecycle: designing and deploying applications through infrastructure-as-code tools, orchestrating middleware installations, applying security patches, monitoring performance against defined benchmarks, and collaborating with development teams to resolve production issues. You'll need at least six years of related systems engineering experience and a strong foundation in Linux scripting, version control systems, and build tools like Maven and Gradle. The position is hybrid in Dallas, offering competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and a structured three-days-onsite arrangement.
This role suits someone who thrives in complex, regulated environments and wants to deepen expertise across modern DevOps and cloud-native technologies while working on systems that matter to global financial markets.
