About this role

Pivotal Solutions is looking for a Senior Accountant to join its Philadelphia office on a full-time, in-person basis. The role centers on the core accounting functions that keep a business running smoothly: managing monthly close cycles, handling forecasting and budgeting work, and overseeing customer billing. You'll work alongside your accounting team to ensure all transactions comply with GAAP, support the annual audit including financial statement preparation, and dig into expense variances to give management actionable insights. The position calls for hands-on experience with journal entries and cost accounting.

To succeed here, you'll need at least three years of professional accounting experience and a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics (or equivalent background). A CPA is preferred but not required. The ideal fit is someone who stays organized under the rhythm of monthly deadlines, thinks analytically about financial problems, and works well in a collaborative team environment.
