About this role
Pivotal Solutions is looking for a Demand Planner to own forecasting, inventory optimization, and financial strategy across their business verticals. You'll develop monthly sales forecasts at the SKU level, manage replenishment orders across channels, build annual budgets, and drive allocation strategies to keep stock levels balanced and margins healthy. The role requires you to monitor KPIs, surface trends, and present insights to cross-functional teams—influencing decisions on everything from order quantities to inventory turns.
This position suits someone with at least four years in demand planning, product lifecycle planning, or retail financial analysis who can move fluidly between detailed spreadsheet modeling and strategic conversations with leadership. You'll need strong Excel skills (including the ability to build forecasting tools), proficiency with ERP and planning software, and the analytical chops to work through ambiguous situations. Wholesale or B2B experience is a plus. Success here depends on your ability to prioritize shifting demands, communicate clearly across departments, and maintain sharp attention to detail while staying driven by urgency.
The role is full-time and based in Seattle, requiring in-office presence. You'll report to the Manager of Planning and support key milestone meetings and process improvements, making this a good fit for a self-starter who thrives in collaborative environments and wants hands-on ownership of planning outcomes.
