About this role

Pivotal Solutions is seeking a Workday Systems Analyst to own the day-to-day management and optimization of their Workday platform in Charleston. You'll be the go-to expert for troubleshooting issues, resolving defects, and ensuring the system runs smoothly across the organization. The role requires you to balance technical problem-solving—configuring systems, testing updates, and managing integrations—with user-facing responsibilities like training staff and providing ongoing support to the HRIS team and other stakeholders.

Beyond reactive support, you'll drive continuous improvement by translating business requirements into technical specifications, developing new reports and functionalities, and identifying ways to streamline Workday workflows. This is a full-time, in-office position that demands both independence and strong collaboration skills, as you'll work across departments to implement solutions and stay current with platform updates and features.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in IT or a related field and brings 3–5 years of hands-on Workday administration or analysis experience, particularly in implementation and post-implementation environments. Strong technical knowledge of Workday configurations, integrations, and reporting is essential, along with the ability to troubleshoot effectively and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences. Prior experience in an enterprise setting is preferred, and while Workday certification isn't required, it's a valuable asset.
