About this role
Pivotal Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant to lead their Accounts Receivable and Payable operations in Burlington. You'd oversee a team of accountants while managing the full cycle of customer invoicing, collections, and vendor payments—serving as the Finance Department's primary liaison on these critical functions. The role demands someone who can balance hands-on execution with strategic communication, handling everything from monthly reconciliations and cash applications to cross-departmental coordination on chargebacks and accruals.
This position suits an accountant with at least five years of experience who combines technical proficiency with leadership capability. You'll need a solid foundation in GAAP, strong Excel skills (V-lookups, Pivot Tables), and the ability to work independently while managing competing priorities. Experience with Microsoft D365 F&O is valued but not required. The in-office setting in Burlington means you'll be present for day-to-day team guidance and stakeholder collaboration, with responsibilities spanning invoicing, collections, vendor management, audit support, and participation in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing cycles.
