About this role
Perry Street Software is looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to work with its European team on mobile apps serving the LGBTQ+ community. You'll partner with product managers and engineers to design user flows, test concepts, and deliver polished, production-ready interfaces. The role spans the full design lifecycle—from research and ideation through design systems work and stakeholder alignment—so you'll need strong facilitation skills alongside your design craft.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years in product design with at least 2–3 years focused on consumer mobile apps. You should have a portfolio demonstrating real collaboration with product teams, fluency in Figma (including components and prototypes), and experience evolving design systems. Beyond technical skills, this role demands independence and self-direction; as a fully remote, globally distributed company, you'll work collaboratively but without close oversight. You'll also need the humility to iterate on feedback and the negotiation skills to balance design ambition with engineering constraints.
This is a full-time Berlin-based position with 30 days of annual vacation, home office equipment, and the flexibility of 100% remote work across a team spanning 18+ cities. Motion design experience (After Effects, Lottie, Rive) is a bonus, as is genuine enthusiasm for the communities your work will serve.
