About this role
At this faith-based nonprofit, you'd manage day-to-day operations across an affordable housing portfolio in Atlanta, balancing maintenance coordination, leasing, compliance work, and resident relations. The role demands someone comfortable with hands-on execution—handling vendor networks, unit turnovers, work order tracking, emergency calls, and the administrative detail that comes with affordable housing compliance. You'd be the primary point of contact for residents, local housing authorities, and internal teams, so strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
The position suits someone with three to five years of property management experience who's energized by mission-driven work rather than corporate real estate. Experience with affordable housing, voucher programs, or compliance-heavy portfolios is a significant advantage, as is familiarity with property management software like AppFolio. You'll need to thrive managing competing priorities—resident concerns, maintenance backlogs, leasing timelines, and compliance documentation—while staying proactive and solution-oriented.
This is a full-time, in-office role in Atlanta. The organization explicitly values operational excellence, resident dignity, and community stability, so the best fit is someone genuinely committed to those outcomes, not just the mechanics of property management.
