About this role

PitchBook's Data Operations team is central to the company's competitive advantage in private markets intelligence, and this manager role leads the APAC region's efforts to maintain that standard. You'd oversee six direct reports across four Data Operations Leads and two Senior Associates, driving strategic initiatives while staying hands-on with quality assurance on production datasets. The position balances people leadership—recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and career development—with direct operational accountability: building market knowledge of APAC data providers, developing research methodologies, running business reviews, and collaborating across Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to close data gaps and improve workflows.

The role demands someone with five years in financial data operations, investment research, or private markets intelligence (or three years with a relevant master's degree), plus proven experience managing multi-regional teams. You'll need technical fluency with SQL and/or Python for operational analysis, familiarity with BI tools like PowerBI, and ideally hands-on experience with automation, AI-enabled research tools, and multi-year data roadmap execution. Deep knowledge of APAC capital markets and regionalized research methodologies is expected, along with the ability to interface effectively with clients and navigate the private equity and venture capital landscape.

This is a hybrid role based in Seattle with 15 days of remote flexibility annually. The salary is fixed at $209,144, and PitchBook offers comprehensive health coverage, paid sabbatical after four years, tuition reimbursement, CFA exam support, and robust training programs.
