- Attend customer meetings and industry events, and follow company and customer safety requirements during site visits.
What You Bring
- Preferably 3 to 5 years of sales, business development, or account management experience, or equivalent training. Oil and gas or industrial customer experience is strongly preferred.

- The ability to manage your schedule independently, cover multiple markets, and follow through on customer commitments.
- Comfort using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and customer relationship or work order systems.
- A valid driver’s license, an acceptable driving record, and the ability to complete the company’s background screening process.
Travel and Work Environment
Expect a mix of office work, customer meetings, and visits to active oil and gas facilities. Regular travel throughout the territory is required, with overnight travel as business needs dictate. About this role
Kelso Industries is seeking a Business Development Representative to build the oil and gas business for All Electric and YES across Wyoming and into North Dakota. This salaried, territory-based role combines field presence with office coordination—you'll identify opportunities at production facilities, processing sites, and pipeline terminals, then work with operations and estimating teams to turn those leads into qualified projects. Success means developing genuine customer relationships with operators and engineering firms, managing your own schedule across a multi-state region, and staying connected with clients from proposal through project delivery.
The ideal candidate brings three to five years of sales or account management experience, ideally in oil and gas or industrial sectors, with working knowledge of electrical contracting or related services. You'll need strong communication and organizational skills, comfort with standard business software and CRM systems, and genuine comfort meeting customers at active facilities—sometimes in challenging terrain. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required, along with willingness to travel overnight as needed.
This role suits someone who thrives on independence and follow-through, values safety and reliability, and sees relationship-building as core to the work. You'll be part of a 5,000-person organization with a stated focus on growth, meaningful impact, and competitive compensation, though specific salary and benefits details are not provided in this posting.
